I recently had the pleasure of joining Richard Lannen on the Nozzle Media Podcast for a conversation that felt less like an interview and more like a moment of reflection.
We talked about where identity begins ~ and how often it’s shaped by other people’s expectations before we’ve had a chance to decide for ourselves.
Throughout my life, I’ve learned that not knowing can be a strength. Curiosity opens doors that certainty never will. Many of the most important turning points in my journey began with a simple willingness to ask questions ~ and to step forward without guarantees.
We also spoke about reinvention. About starting again. About the fire that arrives when life strips away what once felt secure ~ and why that fire is not there to destroy us, but to make space for something new.
This conversation was recorded towards the end of the year, around the time I received a lifetime achievement award. It prompted reflection ~ not on what has been done, but on what still feels alive, curious, and unfinished.
If you’re standing at a crossroads, feeling uncertain or restless, I hope this conversation reassures you that it’s never too late to begin again.
