EXPECTATION – ENTITLEMENT – DEMAND
Expectation
A strong belief that something will happen or be the case.
What is it I want to happen in the future?
How I see events unfolding and progressing.
However to expect does not a guarantee that I will receive.
Entitlement
The belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges.
It seems that the era of entitlement is upon us.
Demand
To ask for something forcefully, in a way I do not expect to be refused.
I watched a young child have a full scale tantrum knowing they would be pacified by getting what they demanded NOW.
I believe I cannot make demands as I have found that life’s path doesn’t lead anywhere as I predicted.
2025 HANDOVER TO THE UNIVERSE
TRUST
I have made the decision to hand over control to the Universe for my next steps along life’s path. I want to be open to new experiences during the closing chapters of my life’s story.
So I am prepared to trust and see what transpires. It is like gazing at a blank sheet of paper which is exhilarating with no limiting preconceptions. I have decided not to follow my established practice of predetermining my wishes or intentions.
This is not easy for somebody who has been involved with project management projects during my successful career in corporate life both in senior management positions in Operational and Learning & Development before staring my own business Prime Objectives, Training & Consultancy in 1990.
Nothing would be scripted. No Gant Charts designed with the allowance for the wonderful ‘get out clause’ referred to as slippage when anything did not go according to the master plan.
I am so grateful that in late 2023 and during 2024 I had 3 fantastic adventures identified on my Bucket List and turned my dreams into reality. These experiences fulfilled not only my expectations they far exceeded them. You can read about them in my other TiSME Blogs.
WORLD IN CHAOS
The world at the moment is in such chaos that to predict is a bit like crystal ball gazing. Being unstable is the moving world beneath my feet, in my thoughts and what I see and what I hear. I am aware that there are forces that want to control my freedom and dehumanise my very being so I conform and am not to be a disruptive influence. Limiting my expectations to what is provided as the answer to anything I might see coming my way.

February Review of Events
By letting go I am amazed about the experiences and opportunities that have already arrived to fill the blanks spaces in my diary. Opportunities that even in my wildest dreams would I have put on my bucket List.

Mature Modelling Contracts
Expectations of great modelling and acting opportunities exploiting fragile egos. Money is exchanged with little or no ROI (Return on Investment). Also, there are so many scams out there. All that waste of energy by dreams which are turned to dust.
Agency Signed within a matter of a couple of days by one of the top notch modelling agencies.
Maturity
Maturity is the quality of behaving mentally and emotionally as an adult in a responsible way.
One of the nicest comments from the modelling agency was about my shelf life of 5 years from 85 to 90. Coming from a food retailing background and a knowledge of how products are labelled
Relates to the human stereotyping of age, gender, race, build etc. I call this a survival eyeball scan. Deeply imbedded on my safety net as unconscious bias to determine whether an Ally or Opponent?
I don’t think I will ever grow up! I will always maintain the childlike qualities of curiosity, wonder, enthusiasm and a playful perspective on life even as the years pass by. It’s essential to never let go of the joy and excitement of discovering new things and experiencing the world with fresh eyes.
